Boasting a power range between 100 to 400 kWel for natural gas, this configuration, available in 8, 12, 16 and 20-cylinder v-formations, offers excellent output to size ratios. The award-winning Series 1600 diesel engine is designed exclusively for gen-drive applications, and features the MTU Onsite Energy hallmarks of exceptional reliability, high power density and fuel efficiency. The Series 1600 diesel generator is available in 10V and 12V, 6-cylinder, inline configurations, and features a proprietary power range from 250 to 3,250 kW.
Preferred for prime or emergency power applications, the MTU Series 2000 diesel engines provide 565 and 1,100 kW at 50Hz. Designed for power generation and maximum application flexibility in the most demanding applications, the engine boasts high fuel efficiency, durability, precise voltage and frequency stability.
The tried and tested Series 4000 diesel engines create the foundation for MTU Onsite Energy’s new generation gensets. With maximum power and optimum economy, the Series 4000 features outstanding load response characteristics, as well as proven engine design and performance. The Series 4000 supply between 1,310 and 2,850 kW at 50Hz.
