MTU Detroit Diesel Australia is proud to announce that its “Today Tomorrow” themed Detroit stand was awarded Outstanding Vehicle Component & Equipment Display at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show, held from 16-19 May.
The Award was presented to MTU Detroit Diesel Australia by the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Queensland (CVIAQ), who commended the quality of its Detroit exhibit and praised the team for their exceptional stand design.
The eye catching, monochrome, stand featured the latest engineering innovation from Detroit and comprised the Heavy Duty Engine Platform, including a DD15 cutaway engine, as well as a next generation aftertreatment device and parts display.
In a nod to the company’s 75th anniversary celebrations, a detailed historical time line also featured predominately on stand.
“Our local and international teams worked tirelessly to ensure our customers received the best possible ‘Detroit experience,’ with eye catching displays of our parts and components, the internal technology of the HDEP range and the important history that we pride ourselves on,” Rob Sisk, President and CEO, said.
"The win is no mean feat, considering the quality of stands and displays at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show. At its core, the Award is testament to our team’s drive to be recognised as the Professional Power People,” Rob Sisk adds.
Elements of Detroit’s Award winning stand will feature at next month's Perth Truck and Trailer Show, held from 26-28 July 2013.
