Detroit Diesel New Zealand Grand Opening – the new home of Detroit

Detroit Diesel New Zealand will officially open its Auckland facility, with a Grand Opening cocktail party and tour for customers on Thursday 28 June 2012. The invitation only event will be held at 13/A Vogler Drive, Wiri, and will be hosted by Rob Sisk, Detroit Diesel New Zealand CEO and President.

Attending guests will be able to take a look at new and innovative on-highway engine technologies from Detroit, Mercedes-Benz, PowerDriveUnit, and XTrans Black Exchange Transmission. More importantly, the night will be an opportunity to meet the Detroit Diesel New Zealand team.

The opening of this direct operation comes in an effort to bolster our localised customer and dealer support network, while at the same time enhancing our customer service in New Zealand. As such, Detroit Diesel New Zealand will take care of all on-highway parts distribution, technical support, and training for all Series 60 Legacy, Series 60 EGR, and HDEP engines.

“Detroit Diesel New Zealand is committed to providing technical support to our service dealers and engine customers throughout the country. All of this while stocking the parts that you need on demand and upholding our commitment to best pricing and practises,” CEO and President Rob Sisk said.

According to Country Manager James Gilchrist, Detroit Diesel New Zealand stands for service and engine excellence. “We are here to ensure that our engines perform at their peak, with dedicated local training facilities, factory trained technical support and Detroit Genuine Parts, available throughout New Zealand 24/7.”

Detroit Diesel New Zealand aims to provide unparalleled sales and service support to the growing on-highway market in-country.
