MTU Detroit Diesel Australia is pleased to advise that Dr Michael Munz has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and will assume his place as a member of the MTU Detroit Diesel Australia Board.

Dr Munz brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in business finance and controlling functions. 

A qualified mechanical and industrial engineer, Dr Munz has previously held various financial, management and leadership roles with Daimler AG; in Germany and Portugal.

Mr Munz was most recently CFO and Head of Human Resources and General Administration at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe (a subsidiary company of the Daimler group) and has previously held finance, process reengineering and project management positions with Evo Bus (Daimler Buses).

Dr Munz will formally take up his new position on 4 October 2011 and will be based at MTU Detroit Diesel Australia’s Sydney office.
