Paul Weeks Family Support Fund established
10 April 2014

Following news on March 8th that our friend and former colleague Paul Weeks was among the missing passengers on Malaysian Airlines Flight MH 370, MTU Detroit Diesel Australia has established the Paul Weeks Family Support Fund.

While we have been in contact with Paul’s wife Danica and children – passing on our thoughts and prayers, and offering our support throughout this difficult time – we have also established a Fund to support them.

To start things off MTU Detroit Diesel Australia has donated $10,000 to the Fund, to show our support to Paul’s wife Danica, and two children Lincoln and Jack.

To honour Paul’s contribution to the Company and raise additional awareness to this important appeal, Rob Sisk, President & CEO – MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, will add the Paul Weeks Family Support Fund to his 2014 Boston Marathon fundraising efforts when he competes at the event on the 21st April.

“Paul was a talented engineer, who possessed great leadership and customer relation building skills, and who had many friends within the organisation,” Rob said.

A proud ambassador for the Company and its products, Paul was employed as a Key Account Manager – Mining at our Perth facility.
